Mechanical Engineer

Salary: £44k - £47k plus car allowance, private health and dental, world-class training programme

You will be provided with world-class training which will allow you to become a testing and inspection guru. You'll use your mechanical engineering knowledge, particularly around maintenance and inspection, to test a variety of crane and lifting systems to ensure their safety, produce surveys, recommend works, and advise your clients on changes to legislation.
If you're an experienced mechanical engineer who wants to progress in your career while keeping your hand in technically, but without the hassle of looking after a team, this is a great move for you.
You'll be working in complex environments around the North West, ensuring the lifting and crane kit remains safe for those using it. You'll be the go-to person for these organisations, keeping their kit safe and operational, which comes with a lot of clout.
We require you to have at least a HNC in a Mechanical Engineering discipline and some experience maintaining lifting equipment, MEWPs, access platforms, cranes, HIABs, etc.
