This is an exciting opportunity to join the Highway Development Client Team. We are ambitious and committed to making a difference in Hampshire through supporting developers delivering their Section 278 and Section 38 works, working together with internal and external partners. You will work within the Highway Development Client Team, who are responsible for providing guidance to developers on Hampshire County Council’s relevant process and procedures, helping developers and other parties where issues arise. You will be expected to provide advice, find solutions, and keep moving developments forward by monitoring the Highway Development Agreements function against Key Performance Indicators. The Highways Development Client team has a key role to play in enabling development to come forward whilst providing the necessary transport and highway infrastructure that will keep Hampshire moving. You will gain exposure to a wide variety of developments, from a handful of dwellings to new communities of several thousand homes. You can expect to play a significant role from reviewing planning conditions and S106 agreements to client managing and assisting with the delivery of developer led highway improvements. You will help bring together the skills and expertise of a range of stakeholders and be actively engaged in the decision making process.
