JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Surrey, Guildford Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans to cater to each student's specific requirements Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and progress Assess student's progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with other educators and professionals to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Relevant experience working with individuals with SEN Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Prior experience working in a similar role with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN principles and best practises Ability to create and implement effective learning plans Excellent communication and listening skills Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in SEN education or related field Experience with different types of SEN, such as autism or dyslexia Training in behaviour management techniques Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, temporary position Work in a classroom or educational setting May require travel to different locations within South East England Collaborate with other educators, parents, and professionals All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
