Job Title: Analyst - Group Procurement Support
Department: Group Shared Services
Location: Liverpool
Contract Type: Permanent
Reporting to: Michelle Flynn
Working Arrangements: Hybrid (at least 2 days in the office)
The Role To provide analytical, administration, and assurance/oversight activities, in support of the Group-wide Procurement and Supplier Management framework and associated processes. This includes providing guidance and support to Group colleagues on all aspects of the process; management information creation for senior management; and the on-going maintenance of the third-party contract database/tool.
Outcomes of the Role To provide guidance & support to colleagues across all business entities & functions on the Group Procurement/Supplier Mgt framework, and associated processes.
To support policy and process roll-out across all business areas; maintain, and make recommendations to enhance, the Group-wide procurement model and supporting procedures.
Support and deliver training and awareness activities to ensure that the model/framework and processes are understood and embedded.
Provide support on the management of third-party risks across the supply chain, helping to ensure that arrangements are in place to protect the Group from risk realisation; whilst supporting the delivery of optimum value from the supply chain.
Perform assurance activities and analytical assessment of the procurement and supplier management processes across the Group.
Support the maintenance of the Groups/Entity Outsourcing Register(s).
Analyse, assemble data for report preparation; and produce MI as required.
Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management & Contract Management Activities
Responsibility for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of a Third-Party Supplier relationship risk management strategy and supporting framework.
Working with key stakeholders, supporting the governance structure in place to ensure oversight of supplier relationships, service delivery and performance, that service standards set out within contractual frameworks, and assisting regulatory and legal compliance.
Support business areas in the development of measures (KPIs) for the oversight and management of supplier performance; advise business areas on how to use these measures to improve supply chain performance through regular communication.
Assisting in the delivery of appropriate training and awareness to Group-wide colleagues to support their awareness and understanding of the required processes and requirements regarding the on-boarding and on-going monitoring of Third-Party suppliers.
Supporting the creation, maintenance & update of guidance materials to support all business areas with all types of procurement activity.
Supporting with the on-going update and maintenance of a central contract database, ensuring all key contracts are captured/held centrally & capturing required regulatory, and key commercial information which support on-going relationship management, as well as forward planning activities.
Supporting the on-going maintenance of the Groups & subsidiary entities Outsourcing (including Cloud) registers; coordinating required data inputs from key stakeholders and ensuring regulatory (including EBA guidelines) are met.
Working closely with colleagues, in particular Business Continuity/Operational Resilience to support understanding of third party (and fourth party) supplier relationships; and mapping to the delivery of RIMs important business services.
Supporting the management of risk across the supply chain, helping key stakeholders ensure that arrangements are in place to protect the Group from risk, whilst delivering optimum value from the supply chain.
Support the development, rollout, and reporting of, supplier risk management/supplier service-performance review assurance activities.
Risk Management
Supporting the management of risk across the supply chain, helping to ensure that arrangements are in place to protect the Group from risk whilst delivering optimum value from the supply chain.
Ensure adherence to the risk management policy and procedures, including expected standards of internal control.

Supporting the data inputs into the monthly reporting to the Director of Group Shared Services highlighting areas of concern, key risks & salient issues.
Participate, engage & produce regular updates (when requested) to senior management, including the GEC, on Third-Party risks & issues; including the Groups adherence to regulatory requirements.

To keep abreast of industry and profession best practice, as well as any regulatory changes vendor risk management; understand the impact on the Group & provide updates to senior management.

Contribute towards the continuing development of the Group Procurement & Supplier Management team, as well as the wider Group by establishing and participating in projects, committees and other activities as required from time to time, as directed by the Head of Group Procurement & Supplier Management, and/or Director of Group Shared Services.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience PC literate, in particular knowledge of the MS Office suite to create reporting dashboard and status reports.
Able to interrogate data to provide meaningful interpretation and output.
Good organisation and time management skills.
Excellent and persuasive communicator, both verbally and in written form.
Ability to develop, build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Working knowledge of database administration
Proactive stance towards continual professional development.
Worked in a procurement/supplier mgt/finance/accounts payable role, with significant experience.
Financial services industry exposure ideal.
Knowledge of FCA, PRA, EBA regulatory guidance and requirements for outsourcing and third-party risk management (desirable).
