Hours: 8.30am - 4pm approximately
Salary: £19,500 - £23,400

Role overview:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them achieve their full potential.
* Assisting teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
* Supporting classroom management and promoting a positive learning environment.
* Helping with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
* Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and ensuring inclusivity in the classroom.
* Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver tailored academic support to students in line with their individual needs.
* Assist with homework, exam preparation, and coursework.
* Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
* Encourage a positive and motivated attitude towards learning.
* Create engaging and interactive learning materials.
* Support students in developing effective study habits and time management skills.
Requirements:
* A recent graduate with a 2:1 or above in an academic degree.
* A passion for education and a commitment to supporting young people.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Previous experience working with young people (, tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering) is essential.
* Willingness to obtain a DBS.
