Our Business Services team is seeking a Business Services Adviser. This role will be instrumental in supporting the provision of accounting, assurance, and business advice services, developing the necessary professional competencies through formal and on-the-job training. You will work flexibly to meet deadlines and uphold high service levels whilst maintaining fairness, equality, diversity, and inclusivity in everything that you do. With a focus on 80/20 split between accounting and external audit activities, you will be working across both Business Service and Assurance service lines.

Your responsibilities
Here's a bit more on what you can expect to be doing day-to-day:
* Statutory Audit work, together with Accounts prep, Tax work and client liaison.
* Crafting comprehensive sets of accounts along with detailed working papers for review by your manager.
* Meeting designated deadlines for all accounting tasks.
* Efficiently managing your workload and client expectations, leveraging your expertise to enhance the team's performance.
* Cultivating strong client relationships to optimise outcomes and actively contributing to business growth initiatives.
* Maintaining keen awareness of project timelines and completing assignments within specified parameters.
* Implementing strategies to minimise review points and enhance project efficiency.
About You: We're searching for candidates who bring a dynamic blend of experience and qualifications to excel in this role:
* 2 years + post qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or AAT preferred)
* Demonstrated proficiency in collaborating within a team environment.
* Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
* Dedication to enhancing professional and technical expertise.
* Eagerness to cultivate a diverse set of IT skills to enhance performance.
* Enthusiasm for engaging in formal training opportunities, including on-the-job learning experiences.
