HR Advisor Edinburgh £45,000 - £50,000 Salary Elevation HR are delighted to be working on behalf of one of our Professional Services clients to identify a strong Interim HR Advisor to join their HR team. The role is to cover maternity for a period of 12 months in the first instance. The role offers hybrid working 50/50 home/office and can be based in Edinburgh with occasional travel. Benefits include: Flexible, hybrid working policy Bonus scheme Up to 25 days holiday Holiday exchange scheme Private medical insurance Enhanced parental leave Operating as part of the UK HR team and reporting into a Snr HRBP, this role is extremely varied and will involve: Providing comprehensive HR support for the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle, with a key emphasis on employee relations and support Supporting on ER, grievance disciplinaries, performance management, absence management, flexible working requests, maternity/paternity leave Working closely with key internal stakeholders, coaching and mentoring managers across a wide range of people issues, including performance management, succession planning etc Driving forward continuous improvement, updating policies and procedures as well as undertaking cyclical HR activities such as reward and performance reviews. The ideal candidate will have: A wealth of HR generalist experience, particular ER, with the ability to advise and guide on a range of employment issues Strong level of employment law and legislative knowledge The ability to build solid relationships, with confident and articulate communication skills at all level of stakeholder Excellent coaching and influencing skills, being able to articulate best practice HR successfully The role will be commencing early December so whilst it’s an interim opportunity people on 4 weeks or less notice will be considered.
