Horbury Academy are seeking to appoint an outstanding professional to the position of Head of Performing Arts to start in role as soon as possible. We are looking for an ambitious Teacher and aspiring Middle Leader with the determination to sustain and develop the passion for Drama and Music. You will have passion and enthusiasm, alongside the skills and desire to develop pupils in your classes and help them achieve excellent academic results.
Horbury Academy is an Ofsted ‘good’ rated secondary academy with great facilities and a fantastic Performing Arts department and an outstanding team of professionals who are vibrant and forward thinking.
Your role will involve shaping the curriculum to meet the needs of our diverse pupil body and ensuring alignment with industry standards. You will have a deep interest in the attainment of pupils at every ability level and show vigour and initiative.
We are looking for an outstanding practitioner who can enthuse, engage, and inspire both pupils and staff to achieve to the best of their ability. To this end you will be required to lead by example in championing your areas of responsibility.
