SHIFT: 1st shift, 7am - 3:30pm
WORKSITE: Londonderry, NH (100% onsite only)
The position is temp-to-hire, with a 90-day contract before potential full-time employment.
Duration: Initially three months, with the potential for converting to a FTE based on business need, budget approval and performance.
Position Overview
* The role is entry-level, involving tasks like filling hoppers with empty vials, labeling products, and maintaining cleanliness.
* Basic computer skills are required for training purposes.
Candidate Requirements
* Preferably some manufacturing experience, but not mandatory.
* High school diploma or GED is required.
* Candidates with bachelor's or master's degrees are often overqualified and tend not to stay long-term.
* Prefers candidates with manufacturing experience but is open to hiring recent high school graduates.
* Experience in similar bottling operations (e.g., Coca-Cola, Pepsi) is beneficial.
Challenges Note
* Difficulty with candidates who do not speak English, as communication is crucial.
* The need for candidates to fit well within a small team and have a good personality.
Additional Points
* Emphasizes the importance of good attendance and the ability to get along with others.
* Training will be conducted on the second shift and typically lasts a week.
Required education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
* Monitor functions of equipment and operate per documented procedures including maintaining operational logbooks.
* Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures, when required.
* Support material handling as necessary.
* Maintain segregation of materials and lot and or receiving numbers.
* Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition.
* Adhere to and demonstrate compliance to all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to: GMP, device history record, hazard communication and safety rules.
* Utilize written procedures and training to accomplish tasks noted above.
* Accept full accountability for product quality.
* Report to supervisor or management unsolved problems encountered during the workday.
* Maintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories and relative documentation.
* Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing equipment according to established specifications, and standard operating procedures and work instructions.
* Demonstrate steady progress in learning all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing area.
* Exhibit the ability to follow instructions of supervisor while observing the quality of raw and finished goods before, during and after production.
Other information:
* Candidate must be able to stand to package and label product.
* Ensure the smooth operation of the production line. Candidate will not be responsible to run or operate the production line.
* Support material handling as necessary. Does not require use of forklift or power jack.
* Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 20 pounds.
* Candidate supporting a closed production line. No physical contact with hazardous materials or chemicals.
* Safety glasses, hair nets and gloves provided. Candidate must provide steel or composite shoes/boots.
* Must be able to adhere to shift start times and with excellent attendance and punctuality.
* Prior manufacturing experience not required. Training will be provided.
