The team provide a first-class service to passengers using our car parking services, where we have over 46,000 car parking spaces and vehicle movements of up to 3800 vehicles a day. This is a varied role and duties will include: • Leadership of a team of car park colleagues, ensuring operational performance is delivered in line with expected budgetary movements. • Monitoring of car parks performance daily, using KPI’s and data to drive efficiencies. • Utilising appropriate systems to analyse throughputs and demands, to aid planning and resource utilisation, taking corrective action where necessary to ensure key performance measures are met. • Reviewing, auditing and updating standard operating procedures to maximise operational efficiency. Ensuring any operational changes are well communicated and thoroughly understood and complied with by the end users. • Delivery of H&S plans and processes, ensuring that the team are compliant and that a culture of H&S is present in the operation.What will make you successful in the role? To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience of leading and managing large teams in a service delivery environment. Other skills we are looking for include: • People management skills, including the ability to inspire others to contribute their best. • Prior experience of performance management including disciplinary issues, capability, absence management and conducting colleague achievement reviews. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to give clear direction and constructive feedback, develop two-way communication and deliver difficult messages in a sensitive and a tactful way • Good level of analytical skills and the ability to effectively forward plan, to ensure we consistently deliver exceptional service to all guests The typical shift pattern (subject to change) is 4 working days followed by 4 rest days on a 24/7 roster which will include night shifts, weekends & bank holidays.
