JOB MISSION:
We are seeking a dynamic Associate Trade Marketing Manager to plan and execute trade marketing activities across our key UK brand partners. This is a great opportunity for someone with a proven track record of developing and executing trade marketing strategies that drive consumer engagement, improve our brand presence, and increase revenue.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for sport and sportswear retail, with experience across the full journey from online to in-store with specialist knowledge in Ecommerce.
This role will require frequent travel to clients across the UK and Europe. We offer hybrid working and flexibility in working hours to accommodate a healthy work-life balance.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Account management of key brand partners in alignment with the UK trade marketing strategy, focusing on Lifestyle, Running, and Football.
2. Support sell-in activity through the creation and delivery of account-specific pre-line and sell-in presentations, promoting best-in-class buying experiences for our customers.
3. Create and present consumer-first, account-specific pre-line marketing presentations that influence future buys.
4. Highlight gaps, challenges, and opportunities from Global/EMEA plans for your accounts.
5. Creation and implementation of account marketing plans, handling tactical activity and marketing channels to deliver brand awareness and sell-through.
6. Understand and consider the customer journey, building out cohesive omnichannel plans that align with brand marketing activations and identify where the brand partner plays a vital role.
7. 360 campaign management - planning, creative, production & activation.
8. Management of brand partner budget and launch tools ensuring best-in-class assets and partner servicing whilst consistently looking for efficiencies in spend and resource.
9. Analysis and reporting of campaign successes and key learnings including return on investment, rate of sale & sell-through.
10. Ability to liaise and build relationships with internal and external partners.
11. Promote the correct use of New Balance brand guidelines.
12. Provide regular communication on upcoming and live activity along with performance marketplace updates (culture, competitors, innovation, etc.).
13. Work with wholesale creative teams, third-party agencies, and/or internal creative teams to develop innovative experiential, in-store & online marketing assets.
14. Explore external digital, paid media, social, and PR initiatives where required.
15. Utilise and integrate wider business opportunities, such as athletes & talent, to activate global game plan moments with accounts.
16. Work with wholesale creative teams, agencies, and/or internal creative teams to develop innovative 'brand firsts' experiential, in-store & online marketing assets.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
1. Educated to degree level is required.
2. Experience in managing & delivering omni-channel marketing campaigns.
3. Excellent knowledge of Ecommerce and online customer experience.
4. Strong knowledge and understanding of the digital consumer journey as well as data analysis.
5. Knowledge and understanding within the sports, culture, and performance industry.
6. Proficient with multitasking projects.
7. Process-driven with a clear understanding of working across multiple partners, wholesalers, seasons, products, agencies, and departments.
8. Excellent understanding of consumer behavior and the ability to deliver campaigns from awareness through to conversion.
9. Strong interpersonal and people skills.
10. Able to influence and lead expectations to both internal and external partners.
