The Void Planner Co-ordinator plays a vital role in assisting the Property Manager with the management of Orwell's void works.
The primary goal is to ensure that all void properties are completed to a high standard, on time, and in strict accordance with Orwell's service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee both internal and external contracts, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Maintain high levels of communication and service quality with tenants, housing officers, Orwell operatives, and external contractors.
* Collaborate with the Property Manager to minimise empty property time and void loss while adhering to established void standards.
* Work alongside the Head of Repairs and Voids to review and enhance working practices, driving efficiency gains and improved tenant satisfaction.
* Produce regular reports on void works progress to the Head of Service, ensuring key milestones are set and monitored effectively.
* Support day-to-day repair & void related works, ensuring compliance with approved budgets and promptly highlighting any variations. Assist others within the department when workflow exceeds capacity.
Person Specification…
* 5 GCSE grades 9-4 or equivalent including English Language and Maths, is essential.
* Good understanding of housing regulations and compliance requirements is desirable.
