Build a Successful Career in Retail
The Retail Leadership Degree Apprenticeship is a four-year program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career in retail. During the program, you will complete university modules in topics such as Retail Business Environment, Retail Culture & Mindset, Digital Retail, and Retail Insights & Customer Information. You will also gain hands-on experience in store leadership roles, starting as a Customer Assistant, progressing to Shift Manager, then Deputy Store Manager, and finally Store Manager-in-Training.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Retail Leadership Degree Apprenticeship, you must meet certain criteria, including having Maths and English at level 2 or above (GCSE grade 4 or previously grade C), being legally entitled to work in the UK on a full-time, permanent basis, and having been living in the UK for at least three years prior to commencing the apprenticeship. You should also have good time-management skills and initiative and determination to succeed in a fast-paced work environment. Kingston University uses a range of entry requirements to assess your suitability for the course, which may include UCAS Tariff points, interview, portfolio, and practical evidence.
