This role is available to start as soon as possible at a wonderful specialist school located in Bristol
This position requires some experience working with SEN/children.

This role is best suited for individuals who can:
12. Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
13. Support the teacher in delivering informative and engaging lessons
14. Support students with challenging behavior
15. Prepare for lessons (e.g. preparing resources, putting out equipment)
16. Support with some of the pupils' additional care needs (e.g. feeding, toileting)
17. Support the children in completing day-to-day tasks around the classroom and with their learning
18. Ensure that pupils are safeguarded and supported
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
19. Eligibility to work in UK
20. Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
21. Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
22. 2 recent professional references
23. Experience with challenging behaviors
24. A calm & caring personality
25. A strong and resilient personality and be committed to pupils' development
26. Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
27. Team Teach trained - or willing to attend training
