Due to the expansion of our school, we now have an exciting opportunity within our friendly, hardworking and inspiring team. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with a level 3 qualification to enhance the provision across the school and be part of our school improvement journey.

As a Teaching Assistant you must be committed and flexible, be able to support groups and individual children with their learning. Being able to work as part of a team is essential as well as being able to use your own initiative. The successful candidate will need excellent communication and liaison skills and will be closely supported by teachers.
The jobholder must demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This will involve undertaking annual safeguard training and using school reporting systems for any safeguard concerns.

Keeping Children Safe in Education.
Manor Park CE First School will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding process, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not be on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
