Job Summary
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and proactive Personal Assistant for an 8-month fixed term contract to cover the current PA's maternity leave. You will be working closely to support our departing Finance Director, who is retiring, and the new Chief Finance Officer, as well as other senior members of the Finance and HR/OD Teams. If you are an experienced PA, who thrives on multi-tasking daily, can deal with highly sensitive, complex, and confidential matters, are flexible and adaptable, and enjoy interacting with colleagues at all levels up to Board level, we would like to hear from you. Ideally, you will be able to start in early March.

Main Duties of the Job
What you'll be doing:
1. Providing secretarial support, including the coordination and management of activities within the remit of the CFO.
2. Administrative support and diary management for other senior members of the Finance and HR/OD teams.
3. Ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the function, including coordinating logistics and content for team events.
4. Providing secretariat support for key meetings.

Person Specification
Essential Skills and Abilities
1. Proficient IT skills and ability to use Microsoft Office packages (i.e. Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
2. Ability to draft accurate and well-presented correspondence to a high standard.
3. Ability to plan and organise complex activities using a systematic, thorough, and logical approach.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills that demonstrate diplomacy and professionalism.
5. Excellent keyboard skills (at least 50wpm with a 90% accuracy rate).
Experience
1. Significant experience of working as a Personal Assistant at Director/Senior level within complex organisations.
2. Experience of providing very complex diary management to Director and Senior Managers.
3. Experience of producing high-quality minutes of senior level meetings.
4. Experience of coping well when under pressure from competing priorities, unpredictable requests, and interruptions.
5. Experience of multi-tasking and organising complex, time-critical activities.
6. Experience of working in an environment which requires adherence to confidentiality policies and procedures.
Desirable
1. Experience of creating content in PowerPoint for presentations.
2. Experience in dealing with and organising large groups of people for coordinating meetings and events.
