Job Title: Housing and Facilities Officer Head Office Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham Job Location: CV4 9YR Salary - £ 9837.00 per annum Contract type - Permanent Working hours -Part Time (14 hours per week) About the role To provide an efficient, high quality, customer focussed service for residents and colleagues To manage rent accounts both current & former, including service charges and other income recovery services To ensure that rent, service and other charges are set and reviewed in line with legal requirements and regulatory standards Managing voids and allocations, maintaining up to date housing waiting lists To work in conjunction with the Locality Teams and Direct Services teams to ensure a seamless service to residents and one that promotes effective business operations Providing contact, advice and guidance to customers Management of ASB Issues under the direction of the Business Support Manager The promotion and marketing of our services Attend customer meetings when appropriate and necessary Comply with all relevant health and safety guidance and legislative requirements of their role and, as applicable, to the service delivery for which they are responsible Staff line management responsibilities, including recruitment and selection Assist the business support manager in the preparation of Reports / KPI`s that fall under the remit of the Business Support Services. About you Do you have excellent knowledge of Housing Management? Do you have experience of managing rents and other charges and collection of former tenant arrears, Voids & Allocations responsibilities, and Tenancy Management issues? Experience of raising purchase orders, getting invoices authorised and tracking against budgets, Processing and managing Direct Debits and Submitting Housing Benefit claims? Do you have knowledge of Health and Safety? Do you have good working knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint As a Housing and Facilities Officer, you will undertake all housing and high level business management functions, including the provision of a customer focused service and the efficient management of the housing provisions working at Arden Grove in Tile Hill Extra Care schemes for adults over 55 with varying health needs. Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role.
