Job Title: Automotive Product Manager
Job Type: Permanent
Field-based, UK (Remote)
Travel: Travel will be required within the UK, you will be eligible for a Company car or car allowance provided
As the Automotive Product Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects associated with maintaining UKAS accreditation for SGS United Kingdom Limited.
From conceptualization to execution, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of Automotive contracts on time, within budget, and in accordance with internal and accreditation requirements.
To maintain and further develop procedures and resources for the profitable delivery of automotive certification.
To provide technical expertise, support and training where required to Technical & Accreditation manager, SGS UK automotive auditors, affiliates and line Manager.
Project management of key clients as required.
Research, develop and maintain Product procedures, quality plans, briefing notes and guidance notes
Assist Certification Managers to ensure appropriate endorsement of Product Qualification Records for the automotive standards.
Adhere to the accredited office’s responsibilities stated in the supporting office agreements with the relevant affiliates.
Liaise as necessary with professional bodies and organizations to protect and develop the company's commercial and technical interests in the sector
Extensive experience within Automotive industry
Experience of working under own initiative and in planning and prioritizing workloads.
Developing Quality Management systems
Previous Automotive Project Management experience is adventageous.
Degree, Post Grad Diploma, Msc or equivalent in relevant subject is adventageous
