We are hiring on behalf of our client based in Worsley, Manchester. We are looking to recruit a Production Administrator to join our team on a permanent basis.
Role Responsibilities:
This role is primarily to support the head of engineering in the administration of technical aspects as well as supporting the sales team in various administration tasks. This will range from day-to-day support of compiling sales estimates & RFQs to working on broader projects that will involve new product development.
Salary:
£28,000 - £30,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday
8am until 4pm or 9am until 5pm

Key Responsibilities:
* Creating new parts within the database
* Reviewing costs for new product development
* Creating bill of materials (BOMs)
* Preparation of request for quotations for customers
* Assistance with responding to customer queries via email and telephone
* Assisting the sales team with generation of new product enquiries
* Reviewing current price lists to compile data
* Reviewing compliance legislation
Skills / Experience:
* Ability to prioritise and manage workload
* Ability to track progress against KPIs
* IT literate – MS Office package
* Deal with ERP data, i.e., creating parts, bill of materials management, data importing
* Independently determines approach and assigned tasks
* Strong problem-solving skills and logical approach
* Planning and prioritising activities
* Exercises latitude and technical judgement in deciding work methods.
