Job Description
We are working with a partnering contractor that is looking to hire a H&S Advisor.
This role will be based out of the Head Office, working closely with site managers/supervisors providing support within the operations. Candidates must be NEBOSH qualified with all relevant required site certifications; you must have experience as a Health & Safety Advisor in the construction industry.
Duties:
1. Implementing the Health & Safety policies and ensuring best practice codes are adhered to.
2. Advising all personnel with the implementation of the Company Procedures.
3. Advising on all current occupational H&S and environmental legislation.
4. Conducting monthly health & safety meetings and providing minutes from these meetings.
5. Producing monthly reports regarding company performance on Health & Safety.
6. Overseeing compliance, investigation, and reporting of incidents/accidents.
7. Providing guidance to site management and site personnel.
8. Completing audits and inspections of Health & Safety practices across the business.
9. Carrying out regular reviews of personnel and contractors' performance regarding HS&E operating standards.
10. Completion of Construction Phase Plans.
11. Playing a supporting role to project tenders.
Requirements:
1. NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
2. Member of IOSH at graduate level.
3. SMST/SSST.
4. Valid CSCS Card.
5. Full UK Driving License.
