We are seeking a talented Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Manager to oversee the marketing strategies and be responsible for driving brand success and guest engagement across Novotel, ibis & The Ternary on Darling Harbour.
Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this is a pivotal role in the team, where a self-driven proactive approach is paramount:
Key responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and implement tailored marketing strategies for Novotel, The Ternary Restaurant & ibis, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance within the marketing team.
2. Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across hotels & venues while promoting individual property distinctiveness.
3. Digital Marketing Optimization: Lead the enhancement of digital marketing channels, utilizing data analytics to drive guest experiences, improve ROI, and ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
4. Revenue Generation & Partnerships: Collaborate with Revenue Management to create promotional strategies, identify cross-selling opportunities, and establish partnerships with local businesses to enhance visibility and attract customers.
5. Team Development & Leadership: Inspire and mentor a high-performing marketing team, encouraging open communication and collaboration across departments and properties.
6. Budget & Performance Management: Develop and manage marketing plans & budgets for both properties & The Ternary, ensuring efficient resource allocation and accountability through tracking key performance indicators.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
2. Proven experience for a minimum of 2 years in driving brand & digital marketing, preferable in a multi-property role.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
4. Excellent communication, project management and interpersonal skills.
5. Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision making.
6. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Creative problem solver with a passion for digital marketing and online sales growth.
Candidates must have full rights for working in Australia and a minimum of two years’ experience in hotel digital marketing.
