Job Title: SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £30 per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored teaching and support to students with special educational needs (SEN) Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities Deliver engaging lessons using a variety of teaching methods Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN Code of Practise Ability to create and implement individual education plans Strong classroom management skills Knowledge of different learning styles and teaching strategies Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs Experience in assessing and identifying SEN in students Working Conditions: Part-time hours, temporary position Work closely with students, parents, and school staff Potential for some travel within the region All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
