Main duties, tasks & skills required The post holder will be commissioned, as required, to undertake People Investigations in line with the Trust's relevant people policies, which will require undertaking a thorough investigation into concerns or allegations, with an analysis of tangible evidence, and the ability to synthesize and coherently present a summary of the findings within an investigation report. The position will require an understanding of Just Culture and be able to confidently operate with equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) at the forefront of how they approach matters. It is expected that the post holder will have previous experience working in a Management role with previous People investigations experience and have knowledge of employment law and ideally an understanding of the NHS environment. They are expected to work collaboratively with divisions and adhere to the Organisation's Values. Person specification Qualifications Essential Post graduate diploma or Master's Degree in a relevant field Degree level education or equivalent experience Professional Registration in a specialist area such as CIPD/NMC/HCPC/GDC/GMC/Social Work (not an exhaustive list) Experience Essential Significant previous experience of undertaking investigations. Previous experience of producing complex formal written documents. Experience of critically analysing incidents and allegations to ascertain themes for improvement. Ability to critique completed reports making suggestions and recommendations for improvement. Desirable Proven experience of managing a portfolio of complex investigations. Experience of working in a health and social care environment at a senior role.
