Job Description
We are now looking for Enquiry Centre Advisors to join our expanding Scheduling & Special Benefits Administrative team on a part time, permanent basis.
Salary: Starting £18,720 for 30hrs per week
Part time – Minimum 30hrs per week working 3 weekdays from 11.30am – 8pm and every Saturday 9am – 5pm
This is a non-sales environment, where you would be speaking to claimants on inbound and outbound calls. This role will also include some administrative tasks.
You will be based at your UK home address with an assigned office at Alfred Street, Belfast, which you will attend as agreed with your manager.
Initial training will take place in our Alfred Street office between 8.30am – 5pm 4 days per week and you will receive full pay for training. After training you will have the opportunity to work from home.
Our Scheduling & Special Benefits Team are responsible for resolving both simple and complex issues for a whole range of customers as well as completing back office administrative tasks.
It is anticipated that the Enquiry Centre Advisor will spend 50% of their time carrying out call centre activities and 50% of their time in development activities. These percentages may vary if business or operational priorities change.
Qualifications
Key Accountabilities:
* Answering calls from claimants/appointees and dealing with queries such as appointment bookings, in a professional and effective manner, ensuring appropriate management of call lengths and call quality.
* Accurate data inputting with attention to detail for completion of back office administrative tasks.
* Any other duties that may be deemed necessary by the business to ensure successful deliver of the WCA service.
Qualifications
* Good listening skills – Able to understand customer problems and give clear and concise explanations.
* The ability to work well within a team and demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs and expectations of the team/business.
* The ability to take ownership of issues, resolving wherever possible at the initial stage of the enquiry.
* Polite and professional telephone manner, showing respect and empathy to callers.
* Genuine enthusiasm for customer service.
* Good time management.
* High attention to detail and accurate data inputting.
* Be adaptable to change in a constantly shifting environment.
We have a training programme starting in December 2024 so you will need to be able to commit to this.
