HR Assistant
Burgess Hill based client
Hours: Full time 37 hours a week
Salary: Equivalent to £26400
We are seeking an enthusiastic and diligent HR Assistant to support with a variety of HR-related tasks in a busy department. You will play a key role in delivering day-to-day HR administration and advice.
About the role:
* Provide day-to-day support and advice to leaders and managers in relation to HR queries
* Draft letters and issue contract paperwork
* Monitor the HR inbox, supporting the team as needed
* Recruitment and selection
* Conduct audits to ensure data is up-to-date and accurate
* Support the starter and leaver process, including playing a key role in staff induction
* Manage staff data and payroll submissions
* Maintain personnel files
You will have:
* Experience in HR administration (school experience preferred)
* An understanding of safer recruitment and wider human resource processes
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive issues effectively
* Proven ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
