Undertaking a technology transformation across our retail estate, we require a field-based engineer to work with our existing teams in replacing all our desktops across the country. This involves travel and prep throughout the day, and a swap out of hardware post showroom closure. This is a mixed manual labour / IT role where all required training will be given, supported by installation check lists and remote assistance from our Wren IT teams. Your base of operations will be Barton Upon Humber or Stevenage. Key Responsibilities: · Removal of legacy IT equipment and replacement with new desktops · Adhering to and documenting quality standards · Completion of testing plans · Troubleshooting potential issues · Installation of mounting brackets and other fixtures which may involve drilling · Communicating with store management · Palletising legacy equipment ready for collection About You Experience in an IT field engineer or similar role. · Understanding of Windows operating systems and domain services (AD, Azure, InTune, GPO). · Hands-on experience with installing and troubleshooting IT hardware and software. · Ability to perform physical tasks such as drilling and mounting equipment. · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours. · Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert). · Understanding of multiple MDM platforms (Jamf, OneLan,) About The Company Wren Kitchens are not only passionate about kitchens, we are passionate about our people We have achieved incredible milestones over the years; opening over 100 showrooms, launching in the USA, and winning multiple awards including the UK’s Number 1 place to work This is thanks to our team, the Wren family, who have inspired us to push limits and make a difference.
