Senior Business Development Manager

Our client is an award-winning provider of innovative and cost-effective travel management
solutions to the corporate and Government market.
They are a global business who are now looking to grow their UK sales team with the appointment of a Senior Business Development Manager. This role gives you the opportunity to bring your experience in the corporate travel sector to a competitive, rewarding sales position that brings out the best in you. You’ll be generating sales revenue, approaching both existing and brand new clients to maximise opportunities and hit your quota.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify new potential partnerships within the corporate sector.
* Building, managing and fulfilling a healthy sales pipeline focused on driving revenue,
adoption, and market penetration within the European Corporate market.
* Generate prospective client leads through industry networking, cold calling, and other
techniques.
* Manage the RFP process, write proposals and provide commercial pricing were
required.
* Attend industry specific networking events both face-to-face and online
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven successful track record in sales within the corporate travel industry.
* Ability to work independently, developing action plans and implementing goals and objectives.
* Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
* Experience closing high value contracts
