Birmingham City Football Club is seeking an experienced Senior Hospitality Sales Manager in our Commercial team based at St Andrew’s Stadium at Knighthead Park in Birmingham.
As Senior Hospitality Sales Manager, you will lead the Hospitality Sales Team with the primary goal of maximising sales while enhancing the operational functionality of the team. You’ll report to the Head of Commercial and work closely with the Leadership Team, Senior Partnerships Sales Manager, and Senior Activations Manager to ensure top-tier account management and services to our corporate guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the team to ensure they are aligned with priorities and on track to meet targets.
* Manage team scheduling for both matchdays and non-matchdays.
* Conduct performance reviews and set KPIs, with regular check-ins to drive success.
* Ensure CRM systems are effective and adjust efficiency.
* Monitor inbound and outbound communications to track productivity.
* Analyse data and trends to help improve operations.
Finance Management:
* Monitor and track the departmental budget, providing regular updates to the Head of Commercial.
* Provide analysis on weekly targets, identifying risks and implementing solutions.
* Identify new commercial opportunities to exceed targets.
Operations:
* Support the Hospitality Sales Operations Manager in day-to-day activities.
* Manage pre-match and post-match guest communications and provide feedback summaries.
* Prepare internal matchday manifests and brief the catering team.
* Manage data, providing valuable leads to the sales team.
* Collaborate with marketing to promote hospitality offerings.
Strategic Work:
* Collaborate with the Head of Commercial to develop and deliver a strategic vision for BCFC’s growth as a Premier League team.
* Identify new revenue streams and business opportunities to drive growth.
* Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and fan demographics.
* Help set commercial goals and develop strategies to meet them.

* Demonstrable ability to manage budgets, analyse performance, and identify growth opportunities.
* Experience in account management and working with CRM systems.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
