We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Auditor to join our team. The Quality Auditor will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position involves conducting thorough inspections, analysing processes, and implementing quality assurance measures to uphold our commitment to excellence.
Job Title: Quality Auditor
Reporting to: Assistant Technical Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure BHL’s food safety and quality objectives are always met
2. Responsible for covering all the areas (Low Risk/High Care) as per rota
3. Review out of specification results and implement corrective actions
4. Investigate customer complaints
5. Maintain WIP, raw material and finished product specifications
6. Ensure that GMP standards are maintained within all areas of the company and that all current legislation, systems, and procedures are adhered to
7. Audit all production paperwork daily according to BRC/Customer requirements
8. Verify all production paperwork on a daily basis and conduct traceability as requested
9. Implement operational changes with technical guidelines
10. Take actions for non-conformances which are rectified in relation to laid down systems and procedures
11. Provide training to operational staff as and when required
12. Assist with new product development, sample preparation, production trials, DAF plant monitoring, and taste panel as required
13. Any other reasonable work requested by the Head of Technical to ensure the smooth running of the department and the Company
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Experienced Internal Auditor with experience working in a food manufacturing environment
2. Experience running internal, customer, and GMP audits
3. Exposure to high risk/high care food production processes is advantageous
4. Open and willing to support the business wherever needed
5. Knowledge of HACCP level 2/3
