Digital Analyst
Location: Surrey
We are currently working alongside a market leader in the highways industry to recruit a Digital Analyst to join the team. This permanent role offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative digital projects, support strategic decisions, and help shape the digital landscape of our business.
Role Overview
As a Digital Analyst, you will assist the Digital Construction Manager in the development and management of the digital strategy. This role will proactively engage with the business to implement digital improvement projects in line with business goals and objectives.
You will provide efficient reporting views to key decision makers to aid in operations management. The Digital Analyst will also assist in developing contract governance and digital processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Strategy Support: Assist in the development and execution of the digital strategy for specific Business Units and sectors.
2. Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, clean, and analyse data to provide insights for decision-making. Create reports using VF Business Reporting tools.
3. Project Support: Assist in managing digital projects, ensuring smooth workflow and alignment with business objectives.
4. End-User Training: Support the development and delivery of training for users on core systems and tools.
5. Continuous Improvement: Gather and apply feedback to improve processes and systems, contributing to ongoing enhancements.
Ideal Candidate
1. Power BI Expertise: Experience in data visualisation using Microsoft Power BI.
2. Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to collect, organise, and analyse data with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
3. Communication Skills: Strong skills in presenting findings and managing stakeholder expectations.
4. Change Management: Familiarity with discovery/change management processes, including facilitating workshops and managing change.
5. SQL Proficiency: Experience in writing SQL queries, generating reports, and presenting data-driven insights.
