Resource Strategy Manager \nLondon | £250 to £350 per day Inside IR35| Initial 6 month contract\n\nAre you a strategic thinker with experience in managing resource across the rail sector?\n\nFord & Stanley are currently recruiting for a Strategic Resourcing Manager to assist the management level with forecasting needs business wide as part of a wider strategic piece.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nYou will be looking longer term to identify what the business needs, and understand turnover of resource in the business.\n\nThe role is working on behalf of a train operating company based in London who are going through a significant transformation across the business. This is a great opportunity to play crucial part and really make a mark on this period of change.\n\nLocation (s):\n\nLondon\n\nRole and Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop and implement a customer-focused, strategic resourcing function that balances efficiency with an exceptional customer experience. \nLead in the consultation delivery of base rosters for traincrew ensuring alignment with LTP, STP, the national network timetable, engineering works, and employee service conditions. \nManage the construction and delivery of station roster production, ensuring cost-effective resource utilisation and compliance with budgetary constraints and business instructions. \nAct as the main point of accountability for resourcing costs, reporting directly to the Head of Service Delivery and other departmental heads. \nCollaborate closely with stakeholders to integrate ad hoc route and traction knowledge into roster requirements, ensuring a diverse range of resource availability. \nThe Candidate\n\nProficiency in people management is essential \nProven experience in a strategic resourcing or rostering role within the rail industry or similar complex operational environments. \nExceptional strategic thinking and planning skills, with a strong focus on efficiency and customer experience. \nStrong leadership abilities, with experience overseeing roster construction and delivery in alignment with business and operational requirements\nLikely Job Titles: Head of Resource Planning, Resource Planning Manager, Strategic Resource Manager, Director of Resource Management, Head of Operations Planning, Senior Resource Manager, Rail Operations Resource Manager, Strategic Operations Manager, Resource and Planning Director, Workforce Planning Manager, Resource Optimisation Manager, Operational Resource Director, Strategic Workforce Manager\n\nAbout Ford & Stanley Group\n\nFord & Stanley Talent Services Group are in the business of people and performance.
