holders will be required to undertake some or all of the duties below)
1. Apply a good working knowledge of departmental/service administrative systems to answer queries and resolve problems from colleagues and external customers.
2. Analyse, manipulate and interpret information/data and use it to produce reports and other communications.
3. Oversees the email traffic sent to various shared inboxes - ensuring all queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
4. Providing administrative support to various committees.
5. Act as the first point of contact for our applicants or students. Providing a friendly and helpful service. Meeting with students that may need additional support and signposting to central and external support services.
6. Organise events and meetings on behalf of the team as required.
7. Prepare communications and assist in sharing information in a timely and professional manner
8. Maintain Departmental webpages and update content as required.
9. Provide effective and efficient administrative support to colleagues, including the co-ordination of diaries, arranging and servicing meetings, filtering enquiries, drafting and preparation of documentation and organisation of travel/events.
10. Responsible for supporting taught assessment operations in the department – this includes mark entering, monitoring deadlines, production of papers, checking timetables, liaison with staff and External Examiners.
