Salary: £80 - £100 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term temporary assignment

They are fully committed to providing exceptional support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and adverse behavioural difficulties. Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with students who have SEMH needs and behavioural challenges, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
You will be required to provide support both inside and outside the classroom to encourage both their academic development as well as their social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one and group support for students with SEMH needs and behavioural difficulties.
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student progress.
* Use creative approaches to engage students, including sports, drama, music, and other activities.
* Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
* Assist the class teacher with setting up lessons and preparing any resources as and when necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.
* We welcome applications from individuals with a background in sports, drama, music, and the military.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
