Freybors works with regenerative farmers and artisan butchers. We deliver ethically sourced, environmentally sustainable meat of the highest quality.
We’re a part of the move away from the industrial food system. Meat produced in this way is not good for the animals, the environment, or you.
Regenerative farming, on the other hand, is all about animal welfare, sustainability, biodiversity, soil health, carbon sequestration, and it’s good for your health.
It may not be a panacea but Regenerative farming has a lot going for it. We aim to help it take root and be a part of the conversation along the way.
We’re a small team of five and each person brings their own unique perspective. What unites us is our shared values, respect for one another and we’re all proactive people that enjoy finding solutions to challenges.
Who we’re looking for
Relevant experience is valuable but the right type of person is more important. We want to find someone who fits our company culture and can grow with us.
You’ll need to be able to multitask and at the same time, not miss the detail. This will be especially crucial when it comes to managing operations and the inventory.
You should be comfortable learning different software platforms with an understanding of how they work together. Right now we mainly use Google suite, Shopify, Active Campaign, Airtable and our own inventory system.
You’ll also be regularly engaged with customers and suppliers. So, being able to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbal, is a must.
And above all, we want a self starter with initiative. In a small business like ours, problems to solve are a part of the territory. It’s essential whoever joins us has the drive to find solutions and propose ideas.
What you’ll be doing
Customer service
* Engage with customers via email, chat, and on the phone to ensure they receive the best possible experience.
* Proactively reach out to customers to check in with them and receive feedback.
* Resolve order-related queries, modify orders, and ensure all customer touchpoints feel personal and seamless.
Operational support
* Prepare packing slips and co-ordinate order pickups.
* Track order status, resolve delivery issues, and liaise with couriers to ensure timely deliveries.
* Use inventory tools to record and manage incoming stock, assign batches to orders, and maintain accurate records.
Process documentation & continuous improvement
* Write, update, and improve internal process documentation.
* Propose changes and solutions to streamline operations, from inventory management to website enhancements.
Marketing assistance & general support
* Support basic marketing tasks, including email campaign edits.
* Help with any general tasks that may arise.
