Junior Geo-Environmental Engineer
Our client is a successful geo-environmental consultancy with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services on projects of all sizes. The work ranges from large-scale housing estates and major commercial developments to smaller building conversions and extensions. We pride ourselves on providing innovative and sustainable solutions to complex geotechnical and environmental challenges. This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Geo-Environmental Engineer to their dynamic team in Warwickshire. You will have the chance to work on a wide variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience in site investigation, Phase 1 and 2 desk studies, data analysis, and technical reporting. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to develop their skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements of the role: - Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth or Environmental Sciences, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. - A Master's degree in a relevant subject would be advantageous but is not essential. - Eligible to work in the UK. - Full UK driving licence required. - Some knowledge of site investigation techniques, geotechnical analysis, and environmental assessments. - Basic understanding of Phase 1 and 2 desk study processes and their importance in geo-environmental assessments. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise technical documents.
