Job Description
Working collaboratively within Rotork, we have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Team Lead to join our high performing team. Working across engineering you will take ownership of hardware and firmware related to the networking of our industrial products. Covering both new designs and current products and necessary standard you will support and manage as required.
The Opportunity
Reporting to our Engineering Manager, you will lead and manage a group of electronic engineers across Hardware and Firmware competencies.
You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving our digital networks to satisfy sales, operations, internal customers, or suppliers as required. Any developments required due to standards or regulations will be in line with company practices and managed accordingly.
The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and an adaptable approach to working in a diverse team and creating fit-for-purpose solutions with them.
Experience Requirements:
1. Previous electronic product design experience.
2. Proven experience of analysing, designing, testing, debugging, manufacturing, and enhancing existing/new products used in an industrial environment.
3. Experience of task management, defect management, verification, and validation tools.
4. Experience in C programming (embedded C) / Python.
5. Understanding of electronics and embedded firmware.
6. Experience in wireless and/or digital communication technologies.
