Based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield, we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager. This role will involve leading and managing complex IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Role Responsibilities Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against these plans. Manage project resources, including team members, vendors, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery. Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective resolution and communication. Ensure all projects adhere to company standards and frameworks, including regulatory and compliance requirements. Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders and senior management through regular reports and updates. Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and post-project reviews. Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. About You The following relevant skills, knowledge and experience are required. Strong knowledge of IT project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello) and office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and systems integration.
