Regional Digital Delivery Lead – Manchester or Preston (Flexible Hybrid Working Available) We are working with a leading organisation in the engineering and construction sector to recruit a Regional Digital Delivery Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to drive digital transformation across engineering and operational teams. The role is based in Preston, with hybrid working arrangements available. About the Role: Reporting directly to the Head of Delivery, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the regional digital agenda, supporting project teams in adopting and optimising digital initiatives. They will play a crucial role in integrating digital tools and processes into engineering and operational practices, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across projects. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate collaboration between engineering and operational teams to optimise data use from project initiation to handover. Drive change and promote digital adoption across regional frameworks. Champion digital delivery as standard practice, implementing core tools such as surveying and scanning, 3D modelling, digital rehearsal, field management, asset management, and handover solutions. Manage the digital delivery toolbox maturity matrix, ensuring compliance with framework and business-level commitments. Support the development and deployment of digital initiatives, including communication, training, webinars, and providing on-the-ground expertise. Act as a key sponsor for change management and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and business-wide improvements. Gather feedback on regional challenges and liaise with central teams to drive solution development. Foster strong relationships with supply chain partners, clients, and internal teams to streamline data exchange and minimise inefficiencies. Ensure all personnel are well-informed about digital workflows and new procedures, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Support regional digital leads in executing their responsibilities, removing barriers to success. Strengthen relationships with clients, guiding them through the digital transformation journey and advocating for regional digital advancements. Technical Competencies: Proven experience in leading change management and digital transformation initiatives. Knowledge of information management in line with ISO 19650 and related standards (desirable). Strong understanding of engineering design, project delivery, and construction processes within infrastructure sectors, including construction and engineering projects (desirable). Experience & Qualifications: Experience in a Change Manager role within a large-scale project. Hands-on experience with digital initiatives, including surveying and scanning, 3D modelling, visualisation, field management, and asset handover processes. Membership in a professional institution is advantageous. Individual BIM certification (ISO 19650 or BS 1192) from a recognised body (e.g., ICE, BSi, BRE) is beneficial. Why Apply?
