Mechanical Maintenance Technician (On-site Tooling Engineer)

Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to provide on-site technical repair and customer service functions for Air and DC Industrial tools.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform scheduled calibrations and preventive maintenance on industrial power tools, including DC and pneumatic handheld tools.
2. Calibrate fixturized tools on a planned schedule.
3. Maintain records of all on-site activities and store certification documentation.
4. Provide detailed reports on repairs and incidents as required by management or customers.
5. Conduct bench repairs on DC, pneumatic, and fixturized tools when appropriate.
6. Offer technical support during customer breakdowns and provide guidance per contract agreements.
7. Advise customers on equipment use and best practices.
8. Collaborate with Sales/Project teams and customers to address technical and support issues.
9. Act as an on-site liaison between the customer and the service team.
Requirements
* HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.
* Knowledge of industrial power tools (pneumatic, battery, DC).
* Valid driver's license.
* Computer literate.
* Located within commuting distance of Dagenham.
Benefits
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 D.O.E
Bonus compensation (paid around Christmas)
