We are seeking to grow our sessional staff at Telford College. We are looking for specialist staff within their chosen field, who are enthusiastic, skilled and want to come and join our team of extremely dedicated colleagues, working in a modern and high-tech learning environment.
As a key member of the curriculum team, you will support the delivery of high-quality education to a diverse student body, helping learners achieve their academic and career goals.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about teaching and committed to providing students with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. The successful candidates will demonstrate a flexible approach to teaching, working with a wide range of learners, from those requiring foundational support to those aiming for higher-level qualifications.
We are looking for lecturers to teach the following:
* Maths
* Health and Social Care
* English Language Training
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering high-quality lessons to students across various levels.
* Preparing and assessing assignments, coursework, and exams.
* Providing guidance and support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and performance.
* Adhering to college policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Training
* A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or Level 5 Diploma in Teaching) or a degree in the relevant subject area.
Skills and Expertise
* A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* An understanding of the challenges faced by learners in a further education setting.
* Experience in teaching students in further education (desirable).
