Role & Responsibilities:
1. Support the shift manager in leading the shift team
2. Maintain, repair, and support the equipment
3. Undertake scheduled repairs according to the manufacturer's recommendations
4. Diagnose Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults
5. Prioritise system faults
6. Accurately record all work undertaken
7. Identify continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities
8. Ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels
9. Adhere to the Quality processes and procedures
Qualifications:
1. ONC OR HNC in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering OR BTEC Engineering or Engineering Apprenticeship or BSc or MSc
2. Experience in previously managing a team (desirable)
3. A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals & drawings
4. Basic knowledge of PLC equipment
