Are you an incoming 2024 Science subject university graduate with a desire to find a tutoring position inside of a school supporting KS3 & KS4 students in the Science subject?
i-teachers are currently working with a superb SEMH provision school located in the Moseley area who are eager to find a dedicated, outgoing and naturally engaging Science Academic Mentor to provide excellent 1:1 & small group support sessions for their KS3 & KS4 students in a full-time position for the coming academic year.
In this role as an Science Academic Mentor, the successful candidate will be providing 1:1 & small group tuition to students across KS3 & KS4. The sessions will be tailored around the students academic weak points and be centred around a broad and balanced curriculum.

Science Academic Mentor – Role Information:
1. Science Academic Mentor
2. Located in Birmingham (B11)
3. Paid £450 per week during term time
4. Monday to Friday position based in one SEMH school
5. Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm
6. FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
7. Planning and conducting 1:1 & small group Science GCSE tuition
8. Creating engaging support sessions tailored around students needs

Science Academic Mentor – Applicant Requirements:
10. Minimum 2:1 Science subject degree
11. Strong academic background
12. Prior experience tutoring, teaching or mentoring
13. Good organisation and communication skills
14. Passionate about the opportunity to tutor Science to GCSE students
15. Ability to build rapport with young people
