About the Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join a current Jacobs team delivering a construction project based in Reading.
The successful candidate will gain the privilege of joining and leading a multidisciplinary team on an ever-changing site for one of Jacobs most exciting delivery partners. In the Enterprise Asset Solutions business, we provide construction solutions for the most innovative and high-tech clients the UK has to offer. This opportunity is perfect for any Senior Project Manager looking to develop their current portfolio by managing large projects with complex client and contractor relations and a fast-paced program requiring excellent contract management. Successful applicants should have high-level experience of running large project teams, motivating individuals, resolving conflicts, and always ensuring extremely high safety standards.

Here's What You'll Need:
1. A degree in project management or relevant subject or NVQ level 6 and above;
2. 10+ years managing major projects;
3. A chartered level of qualification is desirable;
4. Membership of a relevant professional body such as the APM or an engineering institution is preferred;
5. Ability to obtain a minimum level of SC clearance UK;
6. UK Driving License and Right to Work in the UK.
Skills:
7. Superior interpersonal skills are required to enable effective interaction with clients, seniors and peers while working in a “Team” environment;
8. Able to build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships;
9. Must possess good communication skills (oral and written) and be able to exchange information at all levels in a clear and concise manner;
10. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality are required along with a process improvement-oriented mindset;
11. Capable of effective multi-task working, identifying, and managing priorities and working to challenging time scales;
12. Must possess good listening skills enabling requests to be assimilated and converted into action plans;
13. Ability to adapt to project change and use decision making skills to maximize company benefits;
14. Conflict resolution experience and ability to manage disagreements of team members across all disciplines.
Experience:
15. Experience of major program and project management;
16. Working knowledge of all aspects of project delivery with experience delivering major projects;
17. Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams in a highly regulated environment;
18. In depth experience of administering NEC contracts;
19. Experience and understanding of CDM regulations.
