Salary: £12.65 per hour
Hours: 1 day in the Easter and Christmas holidays, 1 day a week over 4 weeks in the summer holidays
The Sessional Senior Youth Worker will guide and support young people aged 9-16 participating in our four hour nature-based Holiday Food and Fun activity sessions, providing a safe environment for young people to learn, grow, and develop during the school holidays.
The role will work in partnership with existing services already embedded in local communities to provide young people with opportunities through the HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) programme. The role will require implementing and quality assuring best practice procedures relating to session delivery, safeguarding, and health and safety.
This role would be ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their individual potential and creating opportunities so they are able to enhance their life skills and make positive life choices using nature-based activities.
Ability to travel to Heathfield and/or Peacehaven is required.
