Affinity Water are looking to recruit a Senior Water Hygiene Technician to join our growing team in Staines.
The Role:
As a Senior Water Hygiene Technician you will be responsible for a range of water hygiene tasks, including TMV (Thermostatic mixing valves) servicing, chemical descaling, leading on disinfection works, remedials and some plumbing works.
What you'll be doing:
As part of this role you will lead and supervise a team, ensuring LCA standards are met across all sites.
1. Conduct water hygiene tasks: descaling, tank cleans, disinfection's, TMV servicing etc.
2. Train and audit junior staff in all water hygiene tasks.
3. Lead and supervise other engineers on water hygiene duties.
4. Handle remedial tasks.
5. Liaison with client representatives on remedial actions required and reporting on progress.
6. Ensure IT literacy for reporting and diagnosing remedial works from risk assessment recommendations.
What you'll need:
7. Strong experience in water hygiene engineering.
8. At least 2 years in a relevant water hygiene role - NVQ L2 Plumbing (preferred)
9. Full clean/manual -UK Driving License
10. Experience of managing a team, influencing and training.

12. Hours of work: 08:30am - 16:30pm (Monday to Thursday) 08:30am - 16:00pm (Friday)
