SF Recruitment are proud to be working with a long-standing SME client of ours who are on a journey of continued growth, meaning they are now on the hunt for an HR Advisor to join the team. This role is located at their Head Office in Nottingham. Our client does believe in a mix of in-person and remote management/coaching, meaning you do need to be flexible to travel nationwide every so often to attend other sites.
You will very much work on a collaborative basis, with all the HR team getting involved In all aspects of the workload, even if sometimes it only be from an information point of view. Our client believes in having an overall understanding of what is happening within the business, even if it doesn't direct affect you or your workload. Being informed & aware is so key to them, that way the team can support each other so well. This also means you will have huge exposure, which will help with your personal development.
We are looking to attract experienced operational HR professionals, who will support the HR function in providing solution focused advice on HR activity spanning across the whole employee life cycle. Having experience in a generalist role at advisory level is ideal, as well a proven background in managing your own ER casework. This role is very much needs a 'roll up your sleeves and get stuck in' approach.

Duties within the role:
- Supporting with L&D
- Manage ER case-load - supporting line managers with flexible working requests, grievances, absence management, disciplinaries and performance management
- Provide first class HR support whilst promoting best HR practice
- Manage end to end recruitment
- Develop HR policies
