Salary: £50,574 - £53,607 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time (36 hours per week)

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join Haringey's Safeguarding & Support Service - a fast-paced, supportive team dedicated to delivering high-quality interventions for children and families in need of longer-term support. This role is ideal for a skilled and confident practitioner ready to take the next step in their career, helping to lead best practice and mentor junior colleagues.
You will manage complex cases involving child protection, children in need, and Public Law Outline (PLO) pre-proceedings. You'll deliver timely, evidence-based assessments and plans, ensuring the voice of the child shapes your intervention at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
Work with children and families subject to Child Protection and CIN plans
Lead complex cases, including PLO and care proceedings
Provide high-quality, analytical assessments
Support, coach, and mentor ASYE and less experienced colleagues
Contribute to team development and a high-performance culture
Liaise with multi-agency partners to promote child safety and wellbeing
