The Transport Planner works as part of a small team and in line with DFDS, and our customer KPI’s, to plan structured and cost-efficient delivery schedules throughout NI. A high standard of customer service, attention to detail, accurate reporting and effective communication is essential. You will be responsible for: Planning the route of over 30 vehicles a day Ensuring they get to their destinations on time Working part of a team to solve problems whilst conducting root cause analysis and driving improvements Vessel bookings Oversee sub-contractors & drivers within this role. About you You must have solid experience of using Microsoft packages such as Excel and Word We need you to be self-motivated with an ability to deal with fast-changing environments and the ability to be flexible Sound geographical knowledge of the UK and awareness of vehicle safety legislation, EU driver hours and Working Time Regulations We think the strongest teams are built on diversity and inclusivity.
