Finance Business Process Lead

Our Global services Client is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Process Lead to oversee and drive the optimization of their finance processes. This is a key role in support of an on-going Microsoft D365 ERP implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes across the finance function, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Work closely with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within finance operations.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure the alignment of finance processes with enterprise systems and technologies.
Develop and document process workflows, ensuring standardization and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Implement and manage process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance team.
Monitor and track the performance of finance processes, using key metrics and KPIs to measure success and identify areas for further improvement.
Provide training and support to finance teams, ensuring they understand and adopt optimized processes.
Drive change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
Support the transition to and implementation of new financial systems or technologies (Microsoft D365)
Act as a key point of contact for process-related issues and provide solutions for challenges faced by the finance department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
You must have supported a Microsoft D365 ERP implementation
Significant experience in finance process management, business process optimization, or financial transformation
Proven experience in process redesign, automation, and system integration in a finance environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement in finance processes.
Experience in managing change within the finance function and across an organization.
Process management certification (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, BPM) is a plus.
