NHS Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Business Manager to join during a transformative period, aiming to simplify processes for the NHS and prioritize patient care.
We seek Legal Business Managers with procurement law experience to help develop our long-term procurement strategies.
The ideal candidates will possess knowledge of procurement law to advise on procurement processes, ensuring NHS Supply Chain remains a leading procurement organization, especially in relation to the Procurement Act and Provider Selection Regime.
Daily Responsibilities
1. Support the design and implementation of a commercial compliance framework aligned with legal standards and best practices.
2. Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations, providing standards on processes and controls based on the SCCL Board’s risk appetite.
3. Serve as a subject matter expert on Public Contract Regulations, monitor industry developments, and uphold high standards within the category team.
4. Assist in implementing new standard procurement documents.
5. Develop effective, legally compliant category and sourcing strategies.
6. Represent the legal team at Category Decision Forum meetings, ensuring legal risks are considered in decisions.
